Joining Westcott Community Center in October 2005, Americorps*VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) provides full-time members to create and expand programs that ultimately bring low-income individuals and communities out of poverty.

Ending our second year grant this fall, the Project has been successful in creating and coordinating art and culture programming, securing community resources and in kind donations, and recruiting/training over 600 individual and group volunteers to assist and run WCC events and activities.
