The Tenth
Annual

2011 Westcott Art Trail

Saturday 10-5 - Sunday 12-5

This art fair has grown to one of the finest arts & craft offerings in Syracuse.  This year we are expecting 60+ artists, of extraordinary quality, in 25-30 locations around the neighborhood.  Here at the Center we will be hosting artists as well. We will be offering  refreshments including a bake sale for our youth programming.  In addition we will feature a Farmer's Market as well as Rain Garden Seminars and free Rain Barrels to City residents (some conditions apply- see www.savetherain.us for more information).

The event is a lot of fun and very well attended.

We hope you can make it.

**As part of Onondaga County's Save the Rain program Onondaga Environmental Institute will offer rain barrel workshops at the
Westcott Community Center during the 2011 Westcott Art Trail.  City residents who attend a workshop are eligible to receive a free rain barrel. Workshops will occur from 11-3 every hour on the hour on Saturday and from 12-3 every hour on the hour Sunday.  Workshops last about 30 minutes and focus on proper use, maintenance and installation. In keeping with the spirit of the Art Trail, participants will also have the opportunity to personalize their barrel with an assortment of paints and stencils. Barrels painted by local artists will also be raffled.

Please note: to receive a rain barrel, participants will need to fill
out a form and renters must have the form signed by their landlord.  If folks have additional questions they may contact Amy Samuels at 443-1757 or asamuels@oei2.org.  Additional info can also be found at Savetherain.us
