• The Syracuse Peace Council (http://www.peacecouncil.net/index.html)  The Syracuse Peace Council (SPC) is a comprehensive grassroots peace and social justice organization founded in 1936. SPC educates, agitates and organizes to create a world of peace and justice for all people. Our current focus is the "War on Terrorism." Other issues of particular concern are military spending, the war culture, military conscription, nuclear power and weapons, criminal justice, prisons, police abuse, the death penalty, hate groups, gender and gender oppression, racism, and the support of traditional indigenous peoples.
 
• The purpose of the University Neighborhood Partnership (http://www.universityneighborhoodpartnership.org/) is to enhance the university residential community and address the dynamics of the college neighborhood by providing a process for communication and constructive action.
 
• WCNY -- (www.wcny.org) WCNY has an entire department dedicated to providing educational resources to the teachers and families of Central New York. Whether its is helping children enter school for the first time, providing teachers with classroom content or enabling busy adults to continue their pursuit if lifelong learning... the WCNY Educational Services Department can be a great resource. WCNY works with the WCC After School Program and with the Last But Not Least Family Reading Program providing content and materials.

• The Syracuse Cooperative Federal Credit Union ( www.syrcoopfcu.org ) collaborates with the WCC on financial programs for youth, seniors and other community projects.

• Wacheva Cultural Arts (http://www.wacheva.com/index.html)  believes in the creative and educational development of youth and families by implementing Arts from around the world, and in particularly, African culture. The name “Wacheva” comes from the language of the Gouro people, an ethnic group in West Ivory Coast, West Africa. The word “Wacheva” means “Unity.”
