VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
AVAILABLE:
Computer Instructor for our Cyber-Seniors computer class
Instruct beginner & intermediate level seniors in a
once a week morning computer class.
Youth
Aide position
Join our mission in giving our youth a safe place after school an
alternative of going home
alone or hanging out unsupervised in the street.
The youth have an opportunity for educational, enriching, and
fun activities, M-F from
2:30-5:30 during the school year.
Event
Helpers We need ticket takers, set up & break down
workers, concession help and more at our concert
and lecture series (free admission to
volunteers).
Office
Helper/Receptionist
We need people to help answer the phones, do some
filing, & other office tasks.
Handyman/Maintenance Periodic odd jobs & repairs, mowing
grass, and the like.
Garden Helper We need someone who knows a little about plants to
weed, water, mulch and occasionally plant new plants in our center gardens.
Senior Lunch Aide (June -
August, 11:30 - 1:30) Help set tables, dish out and serve lunch to our seniors,
clean tables and run dishes through the dishwasher.
Event Publicity We need
help putting up posters and distributing flyers about our concerts, lectures,
art exhibits and other WCC events, especially in the Westcott area.
Fundraiser Help with all
aspects of our community fundraising activities, which help the Center to
survive.
